Introducing LinkedGolfers, a New Links-Style Course

I am currently devoting a significant amount of time to growing a large, active community of people who share a passion for golf. For me the sport touches on a lot of personal interests and even needs–exercise, time spent in the sun, the opportunity to meet new people and see new places, a lifelong challenge, and of course cool gear. That’s what “LinkedGolfers” is all about and more.

It’s professionally fulfilling, too. At every turn there’s an interesting project at hand¬† invented by someone who’s looking to place his or her own thumbprint on a game that’s more than 500 years old. I enjoy listening to people describe their love affair with golf and what about the game fuels their ambitions.¬† I’m honored when I can do something to help them succeed, even if it’s just help them tell their own story to a broader audience.

Linked:Golfers combines several components that, together, comprise a complete ecosystem for golf professionals, enthusiasts, decision makers, and networkers:

–Our Linked:Golfers group on LinkedIn allows for easy, centralized networking and rapid communications between members.
Our own site (currently under development) will complement our LinkedIn presence by providing additional depth beyond LinkedIn’s current provisions: rich media, research reports, video, podcasts, and more–all provided by our members.
Our Twitter account (@linkedgolfers) aims to provide instant updates of all matters of value to our community.

We’re just getting started and there’s a lot to be done, but if you love golf and are seeking new opportunities, join us and tell your friends to tag along.
